Artwork Bleed:

Add 3mm border to pictures and designs bleeding at the edge, so there won’t be white space or border showing around the artwork. To prevent accidental cropping it is important to keep the text at least 5mm away from the paper’s edge or the trim line.

Colour Specifications

Do not use print previews as a tool to measure the colour accuracy of your project. The monitor’s calibration, screen resolution and lighting may affect the colours on the file. Many Pantone colours show a visible colour shift when converted to four color process.

For one, two or three colour jobs printed in spot colour, please make sure the colours are specified as spot colour and they separate correctly. You can test this by printing separations on your laser printer.

To achieve the desired colour on press, digital files must reflect the accurate colour models and percentages. For accurate colours and better quality output please make sure all the colours are in CMYK mode. Pantone or RGB colour will be automatically converted to CMYK.

PDF / Adobe Illustrator/InDesign

  • Files should be in 300 dpi at 100% of actual size for quality offset reproduction.
  • Files should be saved in PDF format (embed all fonts and set the screen value to 133 lpi.)

PDF files will be provided as electronic soft proofs. These digital proofs are only to show you the layout and design elements of your job, it cannot be used as a guarantee of colour accuracy. Please ask us for hard copy proof if your utmost concern is the colour accuracy.

Digital colour proof will be provided with certain changes only if the clients’ request for it.
